The fittest couples and partners in Hawaii descended upon Crossfit West Oahu on Sunday, February 4th for the 5th annual Cupid’s Revenge. They brought their A game as well as their Aloha spirit to show how strong they worked as a pair, or how much fun they could have as a couple.
The Hawaii Crossfit community is always looking for a place to throw down and prove who is the best. Cupid’s Revenge proved to challenge athletes as they pushed their limits one more time before the Crossfit Open starts on Feb. 23rd.
Every no rep could have spelled loss for each pair, and for many it did. The final scores were just 4 points between first and third place.
88 men, women, kids, and teens battled it out in a two person relay and a 20 rep back squat for combined weight, among other challenging events. Only the best could make it to the podium and try as they might to defeat last year’s champions Chantelle and Aaron from Crossfit 808.
Congratulations to Gino and Allison for beating out the champs and taking victory in the Open division. Louis and Krystell solidified first place in the Scaled, while Manolo and Yvonne for defeated all other Masters athletes. Even the Crossfit Kids came to compete as Shandi and Matheus finished in first place, making them the fittest kids there.
Shakas and Snatches gear was everywhere to be seen. If you were not able to grab the newest releases, you can find it in the store and have it shipped to your door.
