Well That was Terrible...

Shakas and Snatches

Hey bad ass Shaka Ohana!

 

 

It’s been a couple of days since our first CrossFit competition Terrible Two’s at Alakai CrossFit and we had a blast! The energy was pumping and the house was packed! It was great to see everyone from all around the state and even our guest team DTP, Rita and Demetrio from CrossFit Hercules! With almost 500 people in attendance, this was definitely a hit! Stay tuned to pictures and videos of the event.

 

Moreover, the biggest highlight was our deadlift ladder which tapped out at 625lb for females and 1000lb for males! There were two top teams that both managed to lift the final bar. And believe me...that bar was bending! For all you sceptics, we used two elephant bars that are a foot longer on each end from Total Fitness USA to load the 1000lb and 900lb bars. So if you’re looking to try this at your gym, find as many 100lb plates as possible and good luck
